My son and I randomly stopped and grabbed lunch here. The food was great, the gyro was delicious and the western dip was on point. The service was very friendly and a laid back atmosphere!

It looked like a cozy Cafe so we gave it a go. We walked in and stood there while waiting to see if we could seat ourselves, we had to get the servers attention to ask if we could seat ourselves. There were literally two tables with people, so it wasn't that busy. I ordered the Denver omelette and it was horrible, not sure how you can mess up an omelette but they figured it out. The server noticed I didn't eat much and she asked if it was good. I didn't want to be rude so I said it was ok. She didn't charge me for the omelette. That's great service and she was very attentive throughout the meal. I recommend giving them a shot.

Kate's is a Greek and American style restaurant. It's got a lot of parking on the street in front, a few tables outside and a little over a dozen tables inside. Portion sizes are great for the price which is definitely affordable. The service is good and quick. The gyro was stuffed, plus tons of fries with the platter. I'd definitely come here for breakfast next time.

I truly cannot say enough nice things about Kate's. We went for breakfast early this morning, and were greeted by a very nice waitress whose name I unfortunately did not get. We got the Denver omelet and the Greek omelet and they both came out really fast and they were SO good. Big portions too. I couldnt eat everything and the waitress noticed I was packing my toast in my to go container and gave me a little container of jam to take with me. It was one of those really thoughtful gestures that makes for repeat business, and I will definitely be back!

I love Kate's! Perfect breakfast/brunch spot if you're looking for outdoor seating - plenty of shaded tables and booths outside the restaurant! Also home to the best orange juice on Colby Ave. 🥤 No mimosas here, but a great spot before or after a couple morning beverages. The food is super tasty and well portioned - I got the Franko scramble with bacon, tomatoes, and onions and at other restaurants, scrambles with tomato/onion can be a little soft or mushy but the texture of the scramble was perfect. And it's the kind of place where your coffee cup is never empty ☕ the staff is really sweet and, if you like stopping by places to buy some art, they have to really cool pieces that are also well priced! Would definitely recommend for a great weekday or weekend snack stop!

Went here specifically for the eggs Benedict. Was unpleasantly bummed . The eggs were pretty much hard boiled 😒😒😒. It taste ok . Hashbrowns taste like pure vegetable oil . For 20$ a plate you woul think the eggs would of been perfect . Probably will never return . The 1 thing descent here was the server . She was very sweet .

My Dad & I enjoy going out to breakfast. We have a couple of places we go to often, they all know us and treat us very well. Our visit to Kate's was our first but it was that comfortable feeling of a regular. We shared an omelette which came with hash browns and toast and it was way more than enough, coffee/tea was hot and topped off whenever needed. Definitely will visit again.
